Yankees moving on

Last night the Yankees ended their divisional series sweeping the Minnesota Twins 3-0.

 The Yankees won the first two in Minnesota after falling 3-0 in the first game and 2-0 in the second. In the third game at Yankee Stadium the Yankees never lost a beat when the Twins were in the dugout wondering were they were and how to beat the damn Yankees. The Yankees won 6-1 they sent Phil Hughes (right), He went 7.0 innings allowing no runs and 6 strikeouts. His replacement Wood  gave up one run but the Yankees had a large enough margin and won 6-1. The Yankees still do not know who they will play because the Rays won yesterday 6-3. But one thing is for surtan the Yankees are heading to the ALCS.

Yankees clinch wild card

Over the weekent the Yankees lost 2-3 to their enemy the Redsox. with the two losses the Rays won the divisoin by one game. Truthfuly I am happy the Yankees got the wild card, they will let the Rays go and face Josh Hamalton and the Rangers and the Yankees will go and face the Twins without Jim Thome. Thome Playied against the Blue Jays and was used as a pitch hitter. The Yankees will have C.C Sabthia on the hill for the first game. He will be facing F. Liriano, these a re the probables.

Last night the Yankees defeateed the Redsox on a walk off walk in the tenth. The Yankees sent Phill Hughes to the mound. He went 6.0 innings giving upone run on three hits and 4 to 4 ratio involving walks to strieouts. He got a nodissison. Boon Logan got the win for the Yankees, pitching o.1 innings, throwing only 2 pitches.

Yankees running away

Last night the New York Yankees defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 8-3. The Yankees sent Phil Hughes to the moung he went 6,1 innings allowing 3 runs on four hits, giving up5 walks and 6 strikeouts. The Yankees dominated the Rays early and this is how they did it.

In the first inning Nick Swisher hit a line drive home run to right center (410ft). Then Jorge Posada singled to right center, Mark Teixeria scored. Lance Burkman doubled to center, Alex Rodriguex and Jorge Posada scored. Then Curtis Granderson singled to center scoring Burkman capping off a 5 run first. In the second inning M. Joyce homered to right.
In the seventh, C. Crawford singled to left scoring Bartlet. and Robinson Cano doubled to left scoring Teixeira and Rodrigues. Yankees lead is 7-3. Also Evan Longoria singled to centert scoring Jasso.. In the 8th Derek Jeter doubled to deep right, scoring Brett Gardner. Yankees win 8-3.

Last night the Yankees defeated the O's 11-3. The Yankees sent C.C to the hill. He is still looking for is 20 win. He pitched 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs on 7 hits 1 walk and 4 strikeouts. He threw 104 pitches.

In the first inning Jorge Posada laced a bases loaded single into right field scoring, Derek Jeter, and Alex Rodriguez. In the second inning Derek Jeter hit a sacrifice fly to center, Brett Gardner scored. The Yankees lead 3-0. Also in the second C. Izturez hit a sacrifice fly to left, Adam Jones scored. In the third inning T. Wigginton hit a sacrifice fly to left, R. Andino scored. In the fourth inning Derek Jeter grounded out to short, Curtis Granderson scored. In the fifth inning Robinson Cano homered to right, Alex Rodriguez scored. Also R. Andino homered to left center. In the sixth Nick Swisher doubled to left, Derek Jeter scored. In the eighth inning Brett Garner scored of a wild pitch, the Yankees lead 8-3. In the ninth inning Curtis Granderson homered to center, Robinson Cano, and Jorge Posada scored. Yankees win 11-3.

Yankees back on top

Last night the Yankees defeated the O's 4-2. The Yankees sent A.J Burnett to the hill. He gave up 2 runs and continues to struggle but shows signs of improvement.
The Yankees scoring stared in the 2nd inning when Alex Rodrigues homered to left, for a sols shot. In the ninth Alex Rodriguez homered to left for a three run shot the Yankees won 4-2. In Rays lost and the Redsox lost so the Yankees are in first.

Yankees regain control

Last night the Yankees defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 8-7. Nova was sent to the hill. The rookie pitcher is 2-0 now. The Yankees jumped out to a 6 run lead. Then Novan gave up 2 runs and his replacement gave up 5 topping off a 7 run fifth. The Yankees would tie it up in the sixth the Jorge Posada hit a home run to center in the 10th inning to win.

Last night the Yankees lost to the rays 1-0 in 11. C.CSabathia pitched 8.0 innings allowing 2 hits. He and David Price were amazing. 5 hits in 8 innings 3 for the Yankees

Yesterday the Yankees defeated the O"S thanks to a Nick Swisher nineth inning two rum walkoff home run following a Alex Rodriguez singls. With the win the pull 2.5 games ahead of the Rays, and avoiding the sweep by the O's. Last time they were sweeped by the O's was back in 1986.

The Yankees took 2-3 against the BlueJays and I went to the final game of the series, and sat in second deck left field. I got my picture in front of the George M. Stinebrenner memorial  and caught V. Wells, or J. Buck home run ball that went into monument park. Todaay the Yanks lost to the O's 4-3 AJ Burrnett pitched well for once.

Curtis Granderson crushes two

On Thursday matinee the Yankees defeated the Athletics 5-0 thanks to Curtis Granderson. C. C sabathia pitched  8.0 innings allowing 1 hit no runs 3 walks and 5 strikeouts throwing 95 pitches. The  Yankees now have a 1.5 game lead over the Rays and a 8.0 game lead over the  Redsucks.

 In the 2nd inning Jorge Posada homered to left (405ft). In the 6th inning Curtis Granderson homered to right (338ft). In the 7th inning Curtis Granderson homered to right (345ft) Derek Jeter scored. In the 8th Austin Kerens singled in Lance Burkman.

This afternoon the Yankees took on the Mariners for a weekend series in the Bronx. The Yankees sent J. Vazguez to the mound, he has been inconsistand with the ball today he pitched 3.0 inning allowing 4 runs in a no dicision. The win went to Boone Logan.

Robinson Cano continues to kill the Tigers

This afternoon the Yankees battled the Tigers in the Fourth game of the series. The Yankees needed to win to take the series 3-1 and Curtis Granderson agrees to. His quote was "We need to win some of these four game series we can't keep on splitting them." The Yankees sent Phil Hughes (right) to the mound. He is know 15-5.

In the first inning M. Cabrera hit a 2 run home run into the Yankees bullpen. The Yankees were hitles through 3 inning but in the 4th Nick Swisher singled to center scoring Mark Teixeira, then Curtis Granderson singled to center scoring Cano. The game is tied 2-2. In the 6th Robinson Cano doubled to left center scoring Teixeira starting what would become a 9 run 6th. Posada singled to center, Robinson Cano (left) scored. Austin Kerns doubled to deep center Nick Swisher and Posada scored. Brett Gardner walked, Curtis Granderson scored on a wild pitch that whent to the backstop. Derek Jeter trippled to deep center scoring Austin Kerns and and Brett Gardner. Robinson Cano ended the inning by homering to center (428ft) scoring Jeter. The Tigers pushe accross three more runs by a J. Peralla home run to center, a A. Jackson single to center scoring A Avila and a B Boech single to center scoring R Raburn. Yankees win 11-5

Home run night in the Bronx

Last night the Yankees battled with the Tigers in the third game of this four game series. The Yankees sent D. Moseley to the mound, he is currently 3-2. Last night he allowed 4 runs on 5 hits 2 walks and striking out 2 batters in 5.0 innings of work, he threw 84 pitches before being ejected for hitting M. Cabrera  of the Tigers.

In the bottom of the first Brett Gardner lead off the game and was deliberately throw at and was hit. The home plate umpire gave a warning to each bench. After Derek Jeter batted ( he went 0-4)  Brett Gardner tried to steal but Mark Teixeira hit a 2 run bomb into the second deck in right field. Robinson Cano was the next batter he hit a solo shot into the right feild bleachers the Yankees went back-to-back home runs. Through 1 inning the Yankees lead it 3-0. In the top of the second inning M. Cabrera hit a solo shot to left field, Yankees lead 3-1. In the Fourth M.Cabrera went deep again this time to right field. In his next at bat he was hit and Moseley was tossed from the game. In the bottom of the 4th Ramerio Pena hit a triple to deep right center scoring Austin Kerns. Then Mark Teixeria was safe at first on error by first baseman M. Cabrera Brett Gardner advanced and scored of the error snd Mark Teixeira advanced to second on throwing error by the second baseman. The Yankees lead 6-2. in the 5th Curtis Granderson Homered to righ the Yankees lead is 7-3. Austin Kerns hit a ground rule double to deep left center scoring Teixeiera and Gardner. Yankees win 9-5.

C.C strikes again

The Yankees defeated detroit thanks to their wonderful ace C.C Sabathia. Top Yankees players in the game were/ was Nick Swisher with a 2 rbi single in the bottom of the first. Curtis Granderson with a right feild home run. Derek Jeter with an rbi single. Robinson Cano with a home run to right and Ramerio Pena with a sac fly to right scoring Nick Swisher, and Brett Gardnerwho was 2-3 2r and a walk.
