Bats show up in Baltimore

The Yankees came out hacking at pitches. The heated up Derek Jeter lead off and the slumping Brett Gardner batted 9th. Every starter for the Yankees scored a run and every single one exept Nick Swisher got a hit. Alex Rodriguez started the scoreing game with a two run rbi double in the first and then scored on a single. So quickly the Orioles were down 3-0. The Yankees are the only team in  baseball to not have had a 4 run inning. They are one of the only teams to have a 7 run inning. Russel Martin made it 6-0 with a 3 run home run in the 6th

Last night the Yankees played the 2nd game of a 3 game series against the Baltimore Orioles. After a rain out Friday night, the two teams were ready to play ball, and the Yankees showed up to play but the Orioles didnt. The Yankees as a team hit 5 home runs and scored 15 runs. CC Sabathia got his first win of the season after going 8 innings allowing 3 runs on 6 hits 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.

Aslo in the 8th Alex Rodriguez tied Lou Gerhig for most Grand Slams, 22. To close the game, Brett Gardner hit a two run home run to right that made it 15-3.
